The warriors fighting the war on Cancer

Each and every day, there are platoons of warriors that spend their entire day fighting a war that continues to kill over 600,000 Americans each and every year. Many of these dedicated warriors have been in this fight for decades offering hope to those 1.8 million people attacked by this vicious enemy!

These warriors are the doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, radiologists and many others engaged in this fight on the front lines in the war on cancer!  All these incredible warriors work to treat those who suffer physically and mentally from this disease all while hoping to give a life to those diagnosed early and give some quality days to those millions that are not so fortunate. These warriors not only treat the patients, but also pour their compassion out to those loved ones and friends affected by this horrible disease.

For nearly a century our government has promised to give these warriors and their patients the weaponry needed to win this war, and they have failed on every level! 

The weapons our government has supplied to the warriors on the front lines of this war are akin to sending our military troops into battle today with weapons from World War II.  

I can tell you from experience that the fate of these great Americans suffering from cancer affects those on the front line of this fight in a very deep and profound way. I know this because my wife is one of those that lay witness to these incredible tragedies, and the compassion of those health care workers on these front lines every day.

While it is a complete dereliction of responsibility and lack of compassion on the part of our government leaders to protect the lives of millions of our fellow Americans, our gratitude goes out to the front-line warriors in this fight against Cancer who live through this war each and every day!! 

So much gratitude to all of you who continue to work tirelessly in this war without the fulfillment of promises from our government towards a victory against Cancer
